The UTFAF's military is a very large military due to all the planets and territories the Federation owns or occupies. The UTFAF (Utaf is how people pronounce is) mission is primarily invasion and occupy other planets.
The UTFAF does not have a conscription.
The UTFAF term of service in total is 6 years. 4 active duty and 2 of reserved duty.
The size of UTFAF is to big to be calculated due how territory they have. (Still making up a number)
The branches of UTFAF is.
United Federation Army - Standard army. Is meant to control invaded land.
United Federation Navy - The navy is both a navy and a Aero/Airforce. They specialize in keeping the UTF's space territory free of terrorists, pirates, smugglers, criminals, illegal immigrants, and the UTF's enemies. They have large part in the military research and intelligence of UTF.
United Marine Corp - This is the UTF's invasion force, they fall under the navy's control since in Latin "Marine" means naval infantry, but still are a separate branch. They are amphibious by nature and are highly skilled in reconnaissance, invasion, and marksmanship. What separates them from the army and the navy is their notable warrior like culture that they have. Their training also overlaps the the army.
