Pure Humans - Life as a Pure human is easy and luxurious. A pure human is someone who was born on Earth (Or its solar system) and can trace their ancestor back to start if the Modern Era (Late 1800's -and have no Off world blood in them at all. Pure Humans love their faction and aren't afraid to show it, they are known for having a great pride for the Terran race. They are often prejudice to Off - Worlders and aliens because they aren't "real" Terrans. Almost all pure humans are funded by the United Terran Federation.
Off World Human - Life as an Off - Worlder is hard and very impoverish. Off - Worlders are the Humans who don't live in the Earth's solar system. Life for them is not easy for they do not have many options when it comes to jobs. They're choices are farmer, factory worker, delivery worker, or Terran Service. Many Off -Worlders join the UTFAF for food, citizenship, money, education, and adventure. Almost 60% of the UTFAF is Off - world humans. Many Off - World humans are malnourished and oppressed, Many of them do not live pass 80.
Service Member - Your life is better if you're an Off -Worlder or Alien, because your fed, trained, respected, and educated. Life is still hard in the UTFAF, since it is so hard it has a unique option and that "Self Discharge" which means if you can't handle it you can quit, but deducts many of your rights and you will not become a citizen. Many of the UTF's service members will be discharged in there mid 50's (Human years of course) even though the required term of service is 4 years active duty and 2 years reserved duty, this is due to the amount of space travel. Life after the military is a lot better for most people since Citizenship guarantees minimal government pensions, free/reduced college, right to vote, and immunity from "Social Judgement" which is basically they have the right to a proper trial.
Space Guard - Your life is filled with pride and respect for your factions. In many of the Earth citizens eyes Dimitri Antonov and the Space Guard party are Martyrs and patriots. The job of an officer is rigorous, it is both mentally and physically, most officers do not live past 35 (Human years). Being an officer is agreeing to a life time of service, joining the party is also agreeing to cutting all family ties, all relationships, and your identity, Yes joining the party means you willingly give up your name and live by your Terran ID.
