Don't Powergame - Powergaming is the act of making stupidly powerful characters. IE: John Smith kills all the UTF with a single punch, because he was trained by Illuminati
Don't Godmod - You cannot control others characters. IE: John Smith fires his pistol at Sohn Jmith, killing him.
Don't Metagame - Your character cannot know everything that you know. IE: User 1 reads UTF capital building location, John Smith (User 1's character) tells the FOS where the UTF capital is.
Don't Spam - Don't make useless posts just to get a post count up or something.
Do not FailRP willingly - If you need help, we are glad to provide, but don't fail to FearRP, PainRP or in general Role-play with the knowledge.
Lack of Response - If 1 hour has passed and the person up to respond does not, you may skip them. In combat, you are to notify them that you are going to skip them, or request an administrator to do so.
Report in the report section - Please don't start an argument in an IC section. If you have something to report, please take it to the reports section provided.
OOC - If you wish to speak out of character in an IC section, use // to signify that. IE John Smith stands there // I cant think of anythin lel
On the topic of ERP - If you and another BOTH wish to participate in Erotic Role Play, or ERP, please take it to PMs or steam. There's a difference between two characters showing affection and having everyone read you two enjoy eachother
How to P2L-
Playing to lose, or P2L, is a superior system to rolling, because it doesn't rely on chance, and it also is more streamlined and in general more realistic and enjoyable. If your action LITTERALLY requires chance, IE gambling or something, please ask an administrator to set up a randomized roll for you.
Bad Example-
John Smith aims his gun at Sohn Jmith, firing at him point blank, no provocation, shooting into his back.
Sohn Jmith hears the bullet exit the barrel, and bends over to dodge it, kicking him instead.
Good Example-
John Smith aims his gun at Sohn Jmith, firing at him point blank, no provocation, shooting into his back.
Sohn Jmith is suprised, holding his exit wound, blood dripping out as he groans in pain, falling to the ground, holding his stomach in his arms.
When in combat, it is preferable if you are intending to cause pinpoint harm, you explain where you are aiming. If you just do
John smith aims and fires at Sohn Jmith.
This is not only less detailed, but requires Sohn Jmith to choose where he is hit. If you do desire to spray, they may decide. It's not wrong, just... Generalized. Don't get angry if they don't get shot vitally.
